The coast of Antalya is known as the Turkish Riviera for its crystal blue water and glamorous weather. Lara Beach, which you can see from the Hotel, is one of the most popular beaches in Antalya. Other popular beaches include; Cleopatra, named for the Egyptian queen who is said to have bathed here; Karpuz Kaldiran - where the Düden Waterfall meets the sea; and Konyaalti Beach which has heroic views over the Taurus Mountains. A little further afield, Patara, is the deepest and longest sand beach in Turkey. It is considered a significant nature reserve as a breeding ground for the Loggerhead Turtles who come here in the summer to lay their eggs.
